Tips to Grow and Repair Damaged Hair

My Hair Care Routine

Tips to repair damaged hair:
  1.  If you dye your hair, it's a good idea to let your natural hair color grow out. It's less chemicals on you hair.
  2.  When styling you hair with heated tools, protect your hair with a heat tamer.
  3. Do heat-less hair styles. Too much heat on your hair causes breakage and frizz. Here is a link to three different hairstyles that don't require hot tools. (Click Here)
  4. Use deep repair masks once a week to restore shine, softness, and vitamins to you hair.
  5. Don't use too many hair products like hair spray or mousse. I replace those icky products with Argan Oil.
  6. Wash your hair at least every other day, you don't want your hair to be too dry. Too much scrubbing and washing gets rid of healthy oils your hair naturally produces that keep you hair healthy.
  7. Most importantly trim your split ends at least once every two months. If you don't have bad ends trim only an inch. Cut the lifeline off that split end!

Products mentioned:
  • One 'n Only Argan Oil Treatment $9.99 (Sally's Beauty Supply)
  • Macadamia Natural Oil - Deep Repair Masque $30 (Target)
  • Beyond the Zone Pro Formula - Turn Up The Heat Flat Iron Protection $9 (Sally's Beauty Supply)
  • Micheal O' Rourke Rock Your Hair - Size Matters Big Volume Root Lift $20 (Target)
I hope this helped you lovelies!!!  I get a lot of questions about my hair. My natural hair color is black, but in certain lighting (as you can probably tell by the picture) it can appear to be a different color. At times it can look blue black, brown, and sometimes red. I have grown out my hair for almost three years now since I last dyed it "blonde". I had so many different colors I don't know what to call it anymore lol.

Much love!

My Style: Chanel Logo Shirt and High-waisted Frayed Shorts

My first fashion post yay!!!

As I was browsing through Etsy.com one day I stumbled across this bright Chanel logo shirt. Obviously it's not real since I found it on Etsy and Chanel does not make these kind of shirts. But, I do love Chanel! Who doesn't right? The color caught my attention and I fell in love with it! I even asked you beauties on twitter and Instagram to help me pick one (there was two I was debating on). Most of  you guys voted for this one! Thank you girlfriends ;)

The shirt is pretty good quality I was very impressed. The logo is printed on the shirt, like most manufactured logos are. It is made out of cotton and modal. The only downside is that they only carry one size.

I wanted to pair it with really cute distressed/frayed shorts as well as really cute casual yet dressy shoes. The shorts are "cheeky" but wearable. I love my Jessica Simpson shoes!!! They are extremely comfortable, since they are wedges, and the elasticity of the bands make them easy to walk on for hours.

WHAT I'M WEARING (Links)
  • Chanel Logo Shirt in Light Blue $22 (Etsy.com)
  •  Frayed Denim Shorts $37.99 (Romwe.com)
  • Jessica Simpson Black Elastic Wedges from Macy's (sry couldn't find link)

The shirts come in different colors and different high fashion logos. Let her know I send you if you decide to purchase one :D I hope this gave you a little inspiration. Let me know on my twitter what you think of my first fashion post @MissBelindaxox.

xox, much love!

Pink Obsessed! I'm a sucker for cute packaging!

I am a huge sucker when it comes to cute packaging. If I could paint the world one color it would definitely be PINK! It's my personality, very girly! So whenever I see something pink it immediately catches my attention! Ricardo (my bf) calls me a cat! Ha ha! I guess the same way a cat gets distracted with shiny things that's how I am when it come to anything pink.

But I can't help it. In the long run I tend to spend more money too. Usually items (beauty or not) that come in prettier colors like a purple or something tend to be more expensive than your average black and white. Companies know it too because they hype up the price because they know your willing to pay more for it, like me (guilty!).

For example I don't need a $20 hair spray but I just had to get it, didn't I? I was fighting with myself. Belinda you don't need it! Yes I do it has rhinestones! So I gave in and not only bought the hairspray but the root lift too. All of the items in the picture I bought simply because of the packaging and ended up loving! Most of them are now my "holly grail" must-have beauty items.
